The No Lost Generation (NLG) Tech Summit is a two-day event focused on tech-enabled solutions that connect Learning to Earning for vulnerable adolescents and youth across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This third annual NLG Tech Summit was co-led by UNICEF Middle East and North Africa Regional Office and NetHope, and supported by a Steering Committee that included youth from the region as well as representatives from International Labour Organization, International Rescue Committee, Mercy Corps, Norwegian Refugee Council, UNESCO, UNHCR, and World Vision International.
For youth in the MENA region, conflicts have disrupted the time in their lives normally dedicated to learning and development. Education and employment remain among the key challenges faced by vulnerable adolescents and youth.
NLG believes that technology and cross-sector collaboration can provide new ways for addressing education and employment needs of young people across the MENA region. That’s why we are excited to support organizations and initiatives using the power of technology and collaboration.
